The San Francisco Chapter of the DAA typically hosts an event every quarter for members. Right now, they are approaching what will be the highlight of the year, their annual Symposium to be held on October 24.

Under the chapter leadership of Prolet Miteva, Autodesk; Krista Seiden, Firebase Analytics, Google; and Charles Davis, Blast Analytics & Marketing, this year's Symposium will definitely be an event not to be missed.

Among a wealth of knowledge that will be shared, Jim Sterne will give an introduction to AI in marketing and Tim Wilson will dive into the future of the Digital Analyst's career. Something different the San Francisco Chapter is doing this year is bringing four community speakers to give voice and stage to more practitioners and introduce them to the digital community. The Chapter is also hosting a Women in Analytics lunch.

Chapter Leader Prolet Miteva commented, "I think this year's Symposium will do a great job of highlighting the trends and some of the struggles our members face. The rise of AI, the rise of Data Science, and their intertwining of the traditional Digital Analytics world are important topics and something we need to bring up to our members. We're also exploring the new roles that are out there for the Digital Analytics professional."
