DAA Member Benefit: Receiving Recognition Through DAA Awards Program

As an association of digital analytics professionals, part of our mission is to advance the use of the profession. We do that in many ways, but one important part is recognizing outstanding individual and organizational excellence in the application of analytics technologies and techniques.

I’m excited to let you know that the DAA awards program has undergone a complete transformation, and one I think our members will be very happy with as we move forward to enhance our profession.

Under the guidance of two of our board members, Jeff Allen (Adobe Systems) and Charlotte Whitmore (Analytics Pros), and a task force of committed member volunteers, we have:

  • Updated the award categories to be more relevant and intriguing;
  • Rebranded the name of the DAA Awards for Excellence to the DAA Quanties;
  • Moved the Gala to an incredible event space;
  • Incorporated a live competition at the event where the audience makes the final decision about the winners. (DAA members will still be able to vote in the early rounds); and
  • Made a commitment to increase the public relations exposure given to the winners.

We anticipate announcing the call for entries in early fall, with an entry deadline of approximately Dec 31, 2017.   As a member, the cost to submit a nomination will remain FREE as part of your membership benefits. (Non-members will pay a fee to submit nominations).

The Quanties Gala will be Tuesday, June 5, 2018 in Las Vegas (in conjunction with eMetrics/Marketing Analytics World) at the stunning Keep Memory Alive Event Center.  Keep Memory Alive is dedicated to helping patients and families navigate the extraordinary challenges of brain disorders.

Our mission at DAA is advancing the use of data to understand and improve the digital world through professional development and community. Make the most of your membership by participating in the DAA Quanties this year!
